Schedule Your Guided Group Paddles
If you want to experience paddling through this great urban canyon without taking the time to learn about the Chicago River’s rich history, unguided rentals are often the way to go.
However… unguided rentals have limitations. Paddling with a group of more than 6 boats at a time or after sunset is not allowed without a guide for safety reasons. For those situations, we offer guided Group Paddles!
We have hosted groups at all times of the day (including late at night and early morning). We can take one of our standard routes, or if you have a specific idea in mind, we can adjust as needed.
Please contact us with your desired date, time and headcount, and we will get you set up. Group Paddles need to be booked in advance so that we can arrange for the correct number of safety guides for your event.

Pricing
➢ Headcount <14: $55 per person
➢ Headcount 15+: $50 per person
➢ Headcount 25+: $45 per person
*$10 additional per person on weekends and holidays
Minimum Prices
➢ Weekdays – $200 minimum
➢ Weekends – $300 minimum
Duration
➢ Typically 1 – 2 hours; customizable
Options
➢ Kids under 16 get a reduced ticket price, and must ride in a double kayak with a guardian. Children too small to paddle can ride in the middle of a double kayak with 2 adults at no extra charge.
Inclusions
➢ Single or double kayaks, life vest, paddle, guide(s), safety orientation, paddling lesson, sunscreen
Attire
➢ Comfortable, water-friendly clothing and shoes are suggested, as you will likely get wet. “Athleisure” is a popular choice. Denim not recommended. Dress for the weather on the day of the event.
